Extreme Climate Mining Equipment Engineered To Operate From -40°c To +40°c

The MTGA Arctic Range is a suite of extreme climate mining equipment built for remote operations in low-light, sub-zero and high-wind environments where standard equipment fails. Each unit runs on three independent power sources, solar, wind turbine and methanol fuel cell,  backed by a high-capacity battery bank delivering over four days of backup power. Once deployed, the system operates autonomously without ongoing intervention.

The solar panels feature an automatic tilt system via linear actuator, optimising panel angle between summer and winter conditions. Up to 1.35kW of solar generation capacity is deployable by one person in seconds using sliding linear rails. An optional 400W wind turbine is available, with a second turbine configurable if conditions require it. Wide outrigger footprint provides stability in high-wind environments. Towable by light vehicles and forklift-ready depending on configuration.

Why Choose This Product

Three Independent Power Sources

Three Independent Power Sources

Solar, wind and methanol fuel cell work together to keep the system powered regardless of conditions. In low-light arctic winters where solar alone can't carry the load, wind and methanol fill the gap. Over four days of battery backup provides the buffer when all three sources are limited simultaneously.
Operates from -40°C to +40°C

Operates from -40°C to +40°C

The Arctic Range is engineered for the full extremes of temperature, from deep sub-zero arctic conditions through to the heat of desert environments. Standard equipment fails at these thresholds. The Arctic Range is built specifically for them.
Autonomous Operation

Autonomous Operation

Once deployed, the system runs without ongoing manual intervention. The automatic solar tilt system adjusts panel positioning between summer and winter to optimise generation, and the multi-source power system manages itself to maintain battery charge.
One-Person Deployment

One-Person Deployment

The sliding linear rail system allows a single person to safely deploy the solar panels in seconds. Forklift-ready and towable configurations provide flexibility for how the unit gets into position on remote sites.

See It in Use

Built for Operations in Extreme Environments

Mining

Arctic and sub-zero mine sites requiring autonomous communications and access control that keeps running regardless of temperature or light conditions.

Defence and Government

Forward deployments and remote installations in extreme climate zones where equipment reliability is non-negotiable.

Oil and Gas

Remote drilling and extraction operations in arctic regions where reliable off-grid communications and site access control are critical to safe operation.

Built for Two Critical Site Functions in Any Climate

200 Series Arctic Communications Trailer and Skid

The Arctic Communications Trailer delivers off-grid connectivity in the most demanding environments. Powered by the same solar, wind and methanol system, it establishes communications quickly across remote or high-risk sites operating in extreme temperatures. Available in towable trailer and forklift-ready skid configurations for operational flexibility.

Arctic Boom Gate Trailer

The Arctic Boom Gate Trailer brings reliable access control to harsh, low-light climates. Designed for autonomous operation, it supports a range of boom gate configurations and shares the same three-source power system and high-capacity battery backup as the communications trailer. Towable by light vehicles with a wide outrigger footprint for stability in high winds.

Built to Your Specification

Every Arctic Range unit is built to order. If your site has specific power requirements, boom gate configurations, mast heights or environmental conditions beyond the standard spec, our team will design and build around them. Get in touch to discuss what your operation.
