Frequently Asked Questions
What types of remote site infrastructure does MTGA manufacture?
MTGA designs and builds a full range of ruggedised industrial technology for remote and off-grid operations, including mobile communications trailers, solar lighting and security systems, access control skids, autonomous vehicle infrastructure, and battery-powered decarbonisation equipment. Everything is manufactured in Australia for Australian conditions.
What's the difference between mobile and fixed site communications?
MTGA's mobile communications trailers are designed for sites that move, rotating work fronts, temporary deployments, and locations that need off-grid communication trailers that can be towed and redeployed quickly. Fixed base stations suit permanent or long-term remote sites requiring higher power output and larger battery redundancy.
Can MTGA's equipment integrate with autonomous vehicle systems?
Yes. MTGA has been delivering autonomous vehicle systems infrastructure since 2008, including AHS-compatible boom gate skids, SAB rapid deployment kits and A-Stop charging solutions. Our access control and communications products are engineered for integration with active autonomous haulage corridors.
Does MTGA offer custom engineering and fabrication?
Yes. Where the standard product range doesn't meet your site's requirements, our engineering team designs and builds bespoke solutions from the ground up. Custom solar-powered communications skids, modified power configurations and site-specific fabrication are all available through our Custom Solutions and Product Engineering services.
Is MTGA equipment available for hire?
Yes. A full hire range of mobile power and communications equipment is available, including communications trailers, CCTV trailers, lighting trailers, boom gate skids and security systems. Hire is suited to short-term projects, seasonal requirements or sites where purchase isn't practical.
What makes MTGA different from other Australian mining equipment companies?
MTGA has been engineering remote site infrastructure since 2008, with over 100 active sites and 500 products deployed across Australia and internationally. Every product is designed and manufactured in Australia, built around the specific demands of mining, civil construction and agriculture, not adapted from generic industrial equipment.
