Specific Use Solutions

Specialised industrial solutions for sites with unique environmental, operational or compliance requirements

Some sites have requirements that fall outside what standard industrial equipment is designed for. Extreme cold. Remote location. Specific compliance obligations. Equipment maintenance needs at the end of a long haul road. MTGA’s Specific Use Solutions are specialised industrial solutions engineered precisely for those situations, where a standard trailer won’t perform, won’t comply or simply doesn’t exist.

Products in this range are built to the same heavy-duty standards as the rest of the MTGA range, and both can be customised to suit the exact operational requirements of the site. If neither is quite the right fit, our in-house engineering team can design from the ground up.

Arctic Range

MTGA’s Arctic Range is a series of trailers and skids engineered for extreme cold, operating reliably from -40°C to +40°C in low-light and remote conditions where standard solar-only systems fail. Combining solar, wind and methanol power generation with high-capacity battery backup, the range provides energy-independent communications and site infrastructure for operations in arctic and sub-arctic environments. Built for remote operations equipment requirements where reliability isn’t negotiable and resupply isn’t always possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a product a "Specific Use" solution?
Products in this range are engineered for operational requirements that standard equipment isn't designed to handle, extreme temperature ranges, remote energy independence in low-light environments, or site-specific compliance requirements around emissions or diesel use. They exist because a need was identified that no standard product on the market adequately addressed.
What environments is the Arctic Range designed for?
The Arctic Range operates in temperatures from -40°C to +40°C, including low-light conditions where solar-only systems can't generate enough power. It uses a combination of solar, wind and methanol power generation with high-capacity battery backup, making it suited to remote operations in arctic, sub-arctic and high-altitude environments where energy independence and reliability are critical.
Can the Arctic Range be used in Australia?
Yes. While engineered for extreme cold, the range's operating window extends to +40°C, covering Australian conditions. It's particularly relevant for operations in elevated or inland regions with significant temperature variation, or for Australian companies operating internationally in cold climate environments.
What's the difference between the High Pressure Wash Trailer and the Battery Wash Down Trailer?
They're two different products for different requirements. The High Pressure Wash Trailer is a diesel-powered unit built for heavy-duty field cleaning where raw power and water capacity are the priority. The Battery Wash Down Trailer in the Decarbonisation Range is a fully electric, zero-emission alternative for sites reducing diesel dependency or operating under emissions restrictions. If your site has no constraints around diesel, either could suit. If you're working toward decarbonisation targets or diesel is restricted on site, the Battery Wash Down Trailer is the right call.
What industries are these products used in?
The Arctic Range is used in remote communications, mining and defence applications in extreme cold climates. The Wash Down Trailer is used across mining, civil construction and agriculture wherever field equipment maintenance is required without access to mains power or diesel equipment. Both are suited to high-risk site equipment environments where reliability is non-negotiable.
Can either product be customised?
Yes. Both products are available in custom configurations. The Arctic Range in particular is designed to be adapted to the specific power generation mix and communications payload your site requires. Get in touch and describe your operational requirements.
What if none of MTGA's products are quite the right fit?
MTGA's in-house engineering team designs and builds custom solutions for non-standard requirements. If you have a site problem that standard industrial equipment isn't solving, get in touch and we'll work through what's possible.
