The 2000 Series is MTGA’s flagship communications base station and the top of the range for operations with the most demanding high capacity comms station requirements. Designed as a complete macro cell phone tower replacement, it supports 4,000W+ of continuous power, runs multi-sector LTE systems including microwave backhaul, and operates 24 hours a day with both battery and generator redundancy keeping it live.

Every 2000 Series unit is custom designed and built at our Perth workshop to the client’s exact requirements, up to 42 fixed solar panels, masts from 20 to 50+ metres, modular battery capacity as required, and all components rated for harsh mine site conditions. The galvanised skid frame and heavy gauge tube construction sits under a double-walled, air-conditioned shelter or rack, keeping all equipment environmentally controlled regardless of what’s happening outside. It moves into position by crane or forklift and can be repositioned when the operation shifts.

Up to 42 solar panels deliver serious continuous power into a system backed by more than five days of battery redundancy and five days of generator redundancy. The 2000 Series keeps running around the clock, in conditions that would knock out standard infrastructure.

Purpose built for operations requiring whole-site LTE coverage across multiple sectors simultaneously, including microwave backhaul. This is phone tower-level communications capability in a semi-mobile format.

Every component is rated for harsh mine site environments. The double-walled, air-conditioned shelter protects all equipment from heat, dust and humidity. Heavy gauge tube construction on a galvanised skid frame means it handles the physical demands of large remote sites without issue.

How Deployment Works

The 2000 Series is a skid-based unit positioned by crane or forklift. Solar panels are fixed on concrete blocks, no sliding assembly, no pinch points. Once positioned, the system deploys quickly and runs continuously with minimal maintenance. When the operation requires relocation, the same equipment that placed it can move it. All components are rated for repeated deployment in demanding conditions.
