500 Series Semi-Portable Base Station

>

Cell Tower-Level Solar-Powered Communications Skid without the Permanent Infrastructure

The 500 Series is a semi-portable, skid-based communications base station built to replace a phone tower for large-scale operations. Eighteen high-efficiency solar panels deliver 400–600W of continuous power into air-conditioned equipment racks, with both battery and generator redundancy keeping the system running regardless of weather or outages.

It can be moved into position by crane, forklift or drag, and a single person can have the 17m telescopic lattice mast deployed and the system live in under 10 minutes. If you already have a tower on site, the 500 Series can run as a standalone power supply for it with minimal setup. Built on a galvanised skid frame with heavy gauge tube steel construction, fabricated in Perth for the harshest conditions.

Why Choose This Product

Made in Australia for Australian Conditions

Made in Australia for Australian Conditions

Every 500 Series unit is fabricated at our Perth workshop on a galvanised skid frame with heavy gauge tube steel construction. Built to handle the heat, dust and weather of large-scale Australian industrial operations without needing constant maintenance.
400–600W Continuous Power, Battery and Generator Backed

400–600W Continuous Power, Battery and Generator Backed

Eighteen solar panels deliver serious continuous power, backed by more than five days of battery redundancy and four days of generator redundancy from a 120L tank. When the site can't afford communications downtime, the 500 Series keeps running.
Deployed in Under 10 Minutes

Deployed in Under 10 Minutes

Despite its scale, a single person can launch the 17m telescopic lattice mast, deploy the solar panel sliding assembly and have the system live in under 10 minutes. Crane, forklift or drag moveable, it goes where you need it without a large logistics operation.
Works With Your Existing Infrastructure

Works With Your Existing Infrastructure

The 500 Series doesn't have to replace your current tower. It can plug in as a standalone power supply for any existing tower on site, delivering 400–600W of continuous power with minimal setup.

Where the 500 Series Gets Used

At 5–6 tonnes, the 500 Series is built for large-scale operations where permanent infrastructure isn't an option but communications requirements are serious.

Mining

Large mine sites requiring whole-sector or whole-cell communications coverage with the reliability of a permanent tower but the flexibility to relocate when the operation shifts.

Defence & Government

Major operational deployments, remote command infrastructure and large-scale emergency response requiring self-sufficient, high-capacity communications that can be positioned anywhere.

Telecommunications

Replacing or supplementing permanent tower infrastructure during rollouts, upgrades or outages where a full-capability base station needs to go up fast.

How Deployment Works

The 500 Series is a skid-based unit, moving it into position requires a crane, off-road forklift or drag equipment, which makes it suited to sites where that kind of machinery is already on hand. Once it’s in position, a single operator can have it fully deployed and live in under 10 minutes. Relocation is straightforward when the operation requires it, the same equipment that placed it can move it.

Engineered Around Your Needs

The 500 Series can be fitted with additional panels, batteries and alternative communications systems. Tell our team what your operation needs and they'll configure it to deliver.

Need More Power for a Larger Operation?

The 1000 Series steps up to 1000–1600W of continuous power with a double-walled, air-conditioned insulated shelter and a 12–18 panel solar array. For sites with higher power demands or LTE applications requiring single-sector or cell-level coverage, it's the next call.
